I’m a qualified and experienced patent translator and I help patent attorneys and international law firms protect their clients’ intellectual property by providing top-quality patent translations.
I’ve been working as a professional German to English translator for over 10 years now and have become the trusted translation partner of a number of IP law firms, specialist translation agencies and patent offices.

While I’m happy to consider translation assignments in any field, I specialise in:
Patent translation and patent litigation translation
Including claims, patent specifications, office actions, notices of opposition, appeals, court judgements, prior art documents and licensing agreements.
Due to the diverse nature of IP law I have experience translating texts relating to a wide variety of subject matters, including chemistry and pharmaceuticals, electronics, mechanical engineering and dentistry.
QUALIFICATIONS
I hold an MA in Translation and Professional Language Skills (with Merit) from the University of Bath
I also hold a BA in Germanic Studies (First Class) from the University of Sheffield
I take continuing professional development (CPD) seriously and regularly engage in activities to build on my language skills and subject knowledge.
